Good race of Luca Cherubini on the difficult
It’s the first season in the WEC for Luca Cherubini but he is demonstrating to learn quickly and also in this GP of Italy he has shown to deserve the confidence given from TM RACING.
On Saturday he has been found little in difficulty for the abundant rain fallen, especially in the enduro test, and he has paid too much in terms of gap from firsts ending in tenth place.
Sunday, without rain, he has been sure much fast one succeeding to end to the seventh place bringing his factory TM EN 250F to an important Victory in the cross test putting on his back the king of enduro Juha Salminen, and other good placements in the top five. Luca has commented therefore his race: “..... I’m satisfied enough about my race. My feeling with this new discipline it is increasing to every race and I believe to have demonstrated it today in which in some special tests I have fought with the fastest enduro riders. I also believe that end of the season my balance will be positive......”.
Another unlucky race for the Australian Jake Stapleton, which has had a bad fall on Saturday obliging him to withdraw and it has not allowed him to start again on Sunday.
Alex Zanni was not present to this GP race for the knee problem suffered to the last Spanish GP. A small surgical operation has forced him don’t take part to this race. His re-enter is previewed for next Sunday to the Absolutes of Italy.
