Already the last weekend Manuel Priem had demonstrated to be fast taking a good second place in the first race of the Belgian championship behind only to Steve Ramon.
Convinced to be in the good direction, Manuel, has arrived to Valkenswaard motivated and sure that it could have picked a good result and from the time practices of the Saturday it has already demonstrated it marking the eleventh best time.
In Race 1 he has been author of a good start but after some laps he is remained involved in a fallen with other riders that has relegated him in the last positions, succeeding to close the gap until the eighteenth place.
All other history Race 2, a not good start sees him after the first passage around the sixteenth position. From here start his masterpiece and lap after lap he is approached towards first positions.
A few laps to the end of the race he was trying to attack Strjbos for the fourth place when he has been hit from a lapped rider that it has made him to lose precious time forcing him to finish in the fifth place that concurs him to occupy the ninth position in the ranking.
