Dearest TM Friends,
is with pride and satisfaction that Dave and I want to inform you of the following results in the last race of the CCS / Championship Cup Series www.ccsracing.us that took place on the very famous Homestead International Speedway home of the last race of Nascar every year and Indy.

After a very difficult Friday (were Dave will give more details), finally on Saturday we were able to set the bike up for speeds of 210 / 230 kmph on fast turns, in order to be able to compete with Ducati 1000 and Bimota's (the Suzuki 650 twins and Kawa we didn't even consider them since when we passed them they looked like they were parked).

Formula 40 (Ducati 1000 twins 2 valves / 900 4 valves / Bimota 1000 / Ducati 748 RS / Suzuki 650 / Kawa 650 among other 25 bikes at the start) and a small TM 660 SMX:
1st place Vito Candela on a TM - Motoxspeed (the award announcer, while delivering my trophy, asked : what's a TM and most of the public and racers that had been beaten answered: a blue fast fast thing!

To be considered that in this race we beat the actual Category Champion (Ducati 1000) who was in choc when at the last turn, for which I had patiently waited all race, was passed and beaten for half wheel.
Lightweight Superbike (same bikes as above plus 250 cc GP).

3rd place Vito Candela on a TM Motoxspeed, I was in second place in second place and I could have passed them but, after of being out for 10 months, for a triple elbow fracture, and a bit short of strength, I preferred to finish rather than going to pick up some flowers in the outfield at 130 miles per hour.
To be considered that at the first place on a Bimota 1000 ($ 35.000 racing bike) was this year winner of Daytona 2008 Race of Champions in October (that couldn't stop congratulating us during the whole award ceremony) and in second place the previous winner of F 40.

The 660 SMX was the weekend's sensation with a constant pilgrimage throughout the weekend and surely will do great to TM Italy and Motoxspeed.

TM 660 SMX 2009 $ 17.000
race fee $ 295
rear tire $ 210
passing a Ducati 900 and a Bimota 1000 (expert rider) in turn 4 at Homestead priceless
for everything else there is Motoxspeed
yeahhhhhh
