Fabio Balducci best Italian rider in S1, still unlucky Davide Gozzini in the S2 class
The GP of France, valid as third round of the Supermoto World Championship, has consented to Fabio Balducci, thanks to one good race, of being the first Italian rider classified behind five French riders and the World Champion Hiemer. Still a little misfortune for David Gozzini, fastest and sure protagonist of this championship, that he was been ram into from an other rider forced him to the withdrawal.
After to have conquered the sixth time in the time practices, Balducci in Race 1 has had to recover after a bad start finishing to the eighth place. Same result also in Race 2 where he is remained in fight for the best places until to the end. This result concurs him to end seventh absolute and best Italian rider in this GP, jumping to the tenth place in the world championship classification to only 24 points from the fourth place.
Also Alex Serafini, after a difficult start in both races, he was forced to a difficult recovery, without however to finish points zone.
Sixth place in the time practices also for Gozzini and also for him a bad start in Race 1 has forced him to a veru difficult recovery ending in a fantastic forth position. Optimal the start in Race 2 that after a few laps sees him in second place and ready to attack the leadership of Simone Girolami. Unfortunately in the off road part of the track, the TM SMX 660 F switch off and while Davide was trying to switch the engine again he was been badly ram into from the English rider Iddon which damaged in serious way his TM forcing him to the withdrawal.
